My Psychic Reading

In my last post I had mentioned that I had a psychic reading done. Now, before most of you dismiss this post as I normally would have (in other words, psychic readings are a bunch of bullshit) let me assure you that this guys consistent accuracy about my life really made me wonder if someone filled in all of the blanks for him before meeting me. The scariest thing about it is, he knew things about me that I have NEVER told anyone.

Let’s start off with what he knew, and is true / already happened:

  • He knew my name, age, that I had leukemia.
  • The type of leukemia I have
  • The fact that my grandparents raised me.
  • He knew of several surgeries I’ve had
  • Many experiences that have happened to me (both good and bad, vacations, etc).
  • He also knew I have a boyfriend
  • He knew my house is on an island and I had just purchased it.

… that’s just to name a few.

As for his predictions:

  • I should be able to go home by September
  • My cancer will go into remission
  • I’ll get engaged within a year of falling in love, be married before I’m thirty and I will get married somewhere tropical, on a beach perhaps
  • He sees more fortune heading my way (financially)
  • He said I will go to university, graduate with honours and do very well at my chosen career

Again, that’s just to name a few.

Now, everything I mentioned in the first set of bullet points he was right, there wasn’t even a bit if inaccuracy. The whole meeting was about an hour long and there are obviously some personal things that were mentioned that I’m not about to throw out on the internet for everyone to know. It really amazed me.

As far as his predictions I am SO happy that I may be able to go home by September and he said my cancer will go into remission. Engaged within a year of falling in love? Unlikely. The rest of the marriage stuff, he could possibly be right. Who knows? But the one year thing is just… not happening im almost sure of that.

I’m not sure what he meant by going back to university because right now I don’t have anything in mind. I was thinking about doing a distance education through Athabasca university so I’d have a little more to do when I was in the hospital. Maybe that will lead to something?

I really try not to look into what he says too much, but it is promising to me, especially what he said about my health :)

Who Needs Cuba?

It was 28 degrees out today and I was actually allowed out of the hospital to enjoy the day. So what did I do? Let me tell you…

A group of family / friends went boating for the day. It was really nice even though I felt rather sea sick most of the time. I met some new people, one girl named Alyssa in particular. We seem to get a long well so it was fun. We decided to make the trip a lot more interesting so we went all titanic on them.

We were able to get some great photos of the CN Tower as well, this one is my favorite photo. I dislike the quality, because it was taken with my cellphone, however, I love the way the sun looks.

Other than boating we spent some time around town shopping. I had a mani / pedi done (of course) and  we stumbled upon a psychic reading place so we all had one done. I was so skeptical but after hearing what he had to say I am a believer. It was so creepily accurate I would swear someone told him what to say before I got there. I’ll post more on that later.

My boyfriend called me from Cuba on Sunday. It was kind of shocking to me. I didn’t think he’d call. I figured an email maybe. I loved him hearing him though. He’s having a good time :)
